(or at least what you're allowed to know...)
Thirteen random facts...
1. He was born during the Eisenhower Administration. That makes him very, very old, but not especially wise.
2. Nevertheless, he still has most of his hair, and in the original color. Mostly.
3. Not that he's vain or anything. Oh wait... yes he is.
4. He grew up in Rochester, New York, just a mile from Lake Ontario. In this house, as a matter of fact. That makes him an honorary Canadian.
5. He went to Union College in Schenectady, New York, and somehow managed to graduate. Then again, his degree is in Political Science, so graduating probably didn't make a big difference in his life.
6. He spent 14 years working for the New York State Assembly, which is like 98 years in human time.
7. In the mid-'90s, he moved to New York City to make his fortune. Basically, that was not a well thought out plan.
8. He has been with his partner, Brady Allen, for six years. Which is like 42 years in... uh... never mind.
9. Rob and Brady now live in West New York, New Jersey. From their apartment window, they have lovely views of the Manhattan skyline and random planes that land in the Hudson River.
10. Rob likes white wine, and is not particularly concerned with the price point. Yes, he is a cheap drunk.
11. His favorite authors include Donald E. Westlake. F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Timothy James Beck. Eclectic much?
12. He never learned to type, which makes his command of the keyboard painful to watch for more skilled writers. Still, he gets the job done.
13. He likes beaches and tiki bars. In fact, he's daydreaming about that right now...
